Fusion Packaging recently collaborated with skin care brand Apriori Beauty to launch PSR Next Celloxylin. The brand chose Fusion’s patented airless bottle, ‘STU’, which has won a World Star Packaging Award.

Apriori’s PSR Next is a moisturizing treatment used to reduce wrinkles and fine lines. The product is formulated with double the standard amount of anti-wrinkle peptides to ensure potency.

Fusion’s square ‘STU’ bottle features an actuator that pops up when twisted – a locking feature that was designed to eliminate spills and leaks.

Apriori Beauty’s Principal Manager, Elizabeth Vervynk, commented:

“PSR Next is an exceptional product, as well as one of our personal favorites, so we wanted to pick a component that was equal in caliber…it’s beautiful, substantial, and equal to the quality of the product we wanted to put in it.”

The STU bottle has a unique design that doesn’t require an overcap, which makes it ideal for travel, while also eliminating an extra component from the manufacturing and shipping process. It is double walled, which allows for maximum decorating capabilities.

The team at Apriori Beauty chose a 30 ml size, and it has a silver uv metallized actuator. It is decorated with a shiny silver hotstamp on the bottle’s clear outer wall, and the inner bottle is white.

The feel of the package was an important factor as well. “It looks as good as it feels in your hand, plus it’s weighted just right to feel significant at the same time,” said Vervynk.
